ARRIVE AND REVIVE
Here at Yorkshire Dales Cottage, we have two lovingly renovated holiday cottages nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. We are a small, family run business who really care, and want you to make the most special memories, in arguably the most beautiful part of the country. Both of our cottages sleep 4 and are dog friendly.
Roundabout Cottage
Roundabout Cottage is a lovingly renovated and beautifully furnished holiday cottage nestled in the heart of the charming North Yorkshire market town of Settle, in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Roundabout Cottage sleeps four in two double beds, and features one double bedroom on the ground floor and one larger double bedroom on the first floor. There is a superbly furnished first floor living area with stunning views through the large bay window, a fully equipped kitchen diner with four-seater country style table and chairs, a stunning metro tiled traditional bathroom with bath and rainfall shower over, and a small, fully enclosed patio area with seating for al-fresco dining.

Located in an enviable position, just a short 300 yard stroll to Settle's fine pubs and restaurants, cafes and shops, the outdoor landscapes offer an abundance of stunning walks for outdoor enthusiasts, who can venture to the nearby Yorkshire Dales National Park, which is right on the doorstep, while the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent are just short drives away.

Railway Cottage
Railway Cottage is a delightful, newly renovated (June 2022) traditional cottage dating back to 1850. Hosting 2 bedrooms, one with a doubled bed and the second with twin SMALL singles, this cottage is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. There is also a shower room, cosy living room, kitchen diner and fully enclosed patio area, with further seating area. Railway Cottage has charm and character.

Located less than a five minutes walk from the stunning village of Ingleton, there are a wonderful selection of cafes, pubs and shops to choose from. The famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail is a short walk away, along with the famous peak of Ingleborough.

Please note - Railway Cottage is a traditional cottage in every way, with huge thick stone walls and original wooden beams. This means it has both beauty and charm in abundance, but it is also a compact cottage with quirks including a very narrow and steep staircase, low ceilings and wonky floors. This means the cottage may not be suitable for very young guests and elderly guests, especially with mobility problems. Please bear this in mind before booking. Also, to avoid any confusion, Railway Cottage is NOT located near a railway station.

Both cottages are are dog friendly! One well behaved dog is welcome to join you completely FREE of charge. We even provide dog towels, wipes, poo bags, a lead, dog treats and bowls for your furry friend.

A superb holiday destination any time of the year.

Which cottage should I choose?
Both of our five star cottages will be sure to impress!

Roundabout Cottage is the larger of the two, and the bed configuration is two double beds. It is a short stroll to the centre of the market town of Settle which is larger than Ingleton. There are stunning views from the bay window of the upstairs living room.

Railway Cottage is our newly renovated cottage which was completed in June 2022. It is the smaller of the cottages but features an abundance of charm, and is perfectly cosy for a family, with the bed configuration one double and two small singles. Railway Cottage has a walk in shower rather than a bath, and the enclosed patio area is from the back door so perfect for those long summer days.

Both cottages have South facing gardens which are a real sun trap. Both are short walks to their respective village centres with an array of facilities. Both have picturesque walks from the doorstep, with no need to travel to really make the most of your stay. Whichever cottage you choose, you will be sure to have a wonderful stay here in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.
